Black tea - leaves of the plant are crushed, curled, rolled, or torn and then left to oxidize before they’re dried to give a dark, strong flavour. It supports heart health and protects against oxidative stress.

Black tea is one amongst the variety of teas, this type of tea is extracted from the plant,  Camellia Sinensis. From white teas, black teas to green teas all forms of tea are extracted from this plant’s leaves. The leaves of the plant turn black due to a process called oxidation. Apparently, black tea is stronger than any other type of tea, as it has a decent caffeine content.

It concluded that Black Tea helped improve cholesterol levels in individuals at risk for heart disease or obesity.
